Change is an important part of evolving times. Laws that fit a country perfectly a hundred, fifty, twenty or even 10 years ago may not work well or may not even work at all as new conditions develop. Thus, some change is good, very good in fact. BUT… not all change is desirable change.
America became the world power that it is, America became the leader and most powerful nation on earth, as a result of the individual’s rights this country has given its denizens – far above those existing in any other nation on this planet. Throughout history, the West has experienced many systems of government, many economic theories were implemented. Without exception every form of government, every economic theory ever adopted lend themselves to grievous abuses, though some far more than others. The Europe that has seen many changes over the past century is still reeling from some of its nations’ communist pasts. The former USSR’s Eastern European clients, are still struggling to rebuild their freedoms and their plundered economies.
Russia itself is slowly being reborn as a capitalist haven, in a direct reversal of its former self. Meanwhile in the good ‘ole US of A the government, through its bailout programs, is slowly taking over major chunks of the economy. While the former communist USSR is turning capitalist, the US is threatened by its own government with an eventual takeover of the means of production in the best tradition of fascism and communism.
Fascism like Communism controls the means of production and the State, not the individual, decides what is best for every single person by making decisions for society as a whole. What is good for the Sate, state both systems, is best for the individual. Thus the individual’s needs and interest are subservient to what the government elite perceives as the needs and interests of the State. In both political systems the state is first, the individual a far second! The history of the 20th century is filled with examples of the horrors and the failures of communism and fascism alike. The worst war in the history of mankind was started by a fascist regime, in Germany, by its allies and (unwittingly) by the appeasers in the other European nations (most notably Britain, under Neville Chamberlain). Communism, was also responsible for the deaths of tens of millions and the misery of hundreds of millions. Both systems were proven failures, both systems were proven disastrous. Yet, super capitalist USA, is slowly adapting the worst of both. Had there been no bailout, which future generations of tax payers will still be paying for (for a long, long time!), there would have undoubtedly been a very heavy short term fallout for this country’s economy. There is no question it would have been very painful, there is no questions belts would have had to be seriously tightened. However, there is also no question that a free capitalist market eventually corrects itself and emerges all the stronger.
Any student of history or even anyone who reads newspapers can attest that anything a government bureaucrat and his/her underlings control soon becomes a hopelessly mismanaged entity. Government does not belong in the marketplace, except to regulate it so as to stop serious abuses, to protect jobs and make sure it runs unhampered by unnecessary rules which only benefit an ever more powerful and corrupt government bureaucracy.
As for President Obama’s future cabinet, we have already discussed his possible appointment of Jamie Gorelick as US Attorney General. We already spoke of the moral turpitude and portent of horrible things to come such an appointment would represent, now there is talk of Hillary Clinton possibly becoming Obama’s Secretary of State… Would such an appointment be a good idea? During the primaries, Ms. Clinton unflinchingly assailed Obama’s foreign political naiveté, his lack of understanding. Can she now defer to him and his views on that very same foreign policy? Can she and VP elect Biden, counsel a President Obama on the best course to follow, or… will she have to toe the line and follow the new, mistake laden, President’s agenda? If, as many predict, the next four years are going to become an unmitigated disaster does being a member of Obama’s cabinet mean an end to Hillary’s presidential ambitions? Does the job of Secretary of State, in such a presidency, not signal a political death for her?!?!? Besides, Bill Clinton has many business dealings with various countries Hillary would have to get very tough with, would that not represent a colossal conflict of interests?
When people want change, they clamor for a change that improves things. The trial balloons Obama’s poeople are floating, in hope of approval, show a hesitance that seeks a nod from the general public and/or the European Union. Our country did not get to where it is, except through strong deciseful leaders who could make up their mind without consulting with our competitors. As it is shaping up, and I most fervently pray I’m proven wrong, an Obama presidency only spells out the demise of America. Pity!

….actually the further away we get from the election the worse it looks…
..CERTAINLY obama would not have won without the increasinly overt help from the media…
…but still it represents a moment of insanity in American history…a real man a real hero a real reformer a real tried and test honest man….a man that a country should feel privledged to be able to elect…is NOT CHOSEN..
.and instead a man with no experience…by his own admission he didn’t have time to get experience in the senate because the race starts so early…no sensate experience…committees he ran but never called to order..
…no executive experience whatsoever…
…no military experience…(after the way the left criticized Bush.s less experience in compariston to kerry’s you’d think they would examine matter
..a man with no proven record of ethical or moral ways of working in his community
…a man with serious drugs in his past
..and memberships to maxist clubs
..a man without a black background…no back nieghbouryhoods where he was raised like ie clarence thomas…no black americans that raised him…runs a representitative of the black american community though he isn’t a member and has done nothing for them
…the media has gone to very fussy thinking where they lead the public to not think or idendify reality properly…
…choosing obama over mccain is not logically explainable…McCain is truly a great american with unmatachable credentials t lead…
…historically this is a moment of mass madness in america..and one can only hope the madness is temporary otherwise this is a case of where a great culture begins to rot from the inside out..
…there is no comparison between the two …yet we chose this “illusion” instead of a hero with proven abilities to lead America well
Get your numbers right. Communist regimes in China and the U.S.S.R are reponsible for over 100 million politcal killings of their own citizens in the 20th century. They called this creating unity.
There is nothing in the laws of God or nature that guarantees that America will continue as we have known and loved her. I think peole are very naive. Even conservatives think that we’ll muddle through this, and then be able to reclaim our country. I’m not so sure. I think we are facing incredible economic and foreign crises, and Obama may well destroy us.

Yes, yes, yes!
And that’s one reason our health-insurance industry is in such a mess. The government is already involved there — not to mention the likes of the Doha Agreement.
Yet, most Americans are calling for reform of healthcare BY THE GOVERNMENT. They don’t have a clue, do they? Instead, they expect Big Brother to take care of every little matter.
America is in trouble. Obama is, in many respects, a Marxist. And Marxism sounds good to the undiscerning ear.
