Sweden’s Aftonbladet started it. The fact that both the article’s author and the paper’s editor admitted they had no corroborating evidence meant little to Jew haters “antiZionists”. Now it’s spreading like wildfire throughout Islamic lands. From Bangladesh, Weekly Blitz reports:
Nasty anti-Semitic propaganda – Jews harvesting Algerian kids’ organs!
The anti-Semitic blogosphere and many Arab and Muslim media outlets are aflutter in recent days over accusations of an international Jewish conspiracy to kidnap Algerian children and harvest their organs. Unlike the multiple conspiracy theories about Jews circulating among radical fringe organizations online, this one seems to be gaining momentum on mainstream Arab and Muslim Web sites. According to the story, first reported by Algeria’s Al-Khabar daily, bands of Moroccans and Algerians have allegedly been roaming the streets of Algeria’s cities kidnapping young children, who are then transported across the border into Morocco. From the Moroccan city of Oujda, the children are then purportedly sold to Israelis and American Jews, who then harvest their organs for sale in Israel and the United States. The organs are said to fetch anywhere from $20,000 to $100,000.
The source for the Al-Khabar report seems to be a Dr. Mustafa Khayatti, head of the Algerian National Committee for the Development of Health Research. Khayatti reportedly claimed that several Jews were arrested in New York in connection with the trade. He claimed Interpol knew of the situation and was leading the investigation into the abductions.
“The arrest of Jewish organ trafficking gangs does not mean that the danger has gone; top officials and specialists in this issue assert that there are other Jewish gangs who remain active in several Arab countries,” Khayatti was quoted as saying.
Picking up on the Algerian report, the official Iranian news agency PressTV claimed that the Jewish group “is said to be connected to Israeli Rabbi Levi Rosenbaum, who was recently arrested in New Jersey for the direct involvement in importing human organs.”The report also ran without scrutiny on certain American news outlets, including the Web site of the California-based American Arab weekly Watan.
The report also ran without scrutiny on certain American news outlets, including the Web site of the California-based American Arab weekly Watan. I don’t see why anyone would be surprised, if it’s gonna make dem Jooz look bad, what difference does lack of truth make?!?!?
With its rapid online dissemination, the report has begun to draw fire from those worried about the ease with which such a story, lacking any evidence, can spread in the Muslim world.
The report “sounds as [though] Dr. Khayatti is well connected within the FBI and has access to Interpol documents,” but this was not the case, wrote Hassan Masiky, a reporter for the American Moroccan news service MoroccoBoard.com.
“Needless to say, neither Al-Khabar nor PressTV provided a source for their story, other than an obscure low-level Algerian bureaucrat,” Masiky complained.
Press TV is just Iran’s Ahmadinejad’s “I got one too” answer to Al-Jazeerah, Al Manar, CNN and other such international propaganda outlets.
“What is dangerous in this work of fantasy is the plot to package the true story of the arrest of Rabbi Levi Rosenbaum in New Jersey with the nonsense, nightmarish tale out of Algeria,” he said.
Masiky noted that the Algerian-Moroccan border was closed and carefully watched by the countries’ armies. It was therefore difficult to ascertain how such a plan could be implemented without help from the Algerian state.
“To their credit, the Algerian authorities, up until now, did not ask their Moroccan counterparts for an official investigation, as most Algerians ask themselves: Who are these kidnapped children? Where are their parents? Who conducts these organ harvesting operations? How are the children and the organs transported from Morocco to Israel? And more importantly, how can the Algerian army allow such illicit traffic to go unabated?” Masiky wrote.
The Iranian PressTV noted in its coverage that the report followed claims made in the Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet last month of an IDF conspiracy to harvest organs from kidnapped Palestinians.
The connection indicated “a possible link between the Israeli military and the mafia of human organs detected in the US,” the Iranian report said.
Aftonbladet, too, did not offer evidence in its article, relying on claims by a handful of Palestinians who spoke to the reporter.
Weekly Blitz adds:
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is expected to press Sweden for an official condemnation of an article in the Swedish daily Aftonbladet that alleged Israeli soldiers ‘harvested’ the organs of Palestinians.
The problem with the Aftonbladet article is that Israel does not harvest Palestinian organs for under the table profits; it steals the organs of deceased Israeli soldiers and sells them worldwide. The primary thief is none other than state coroner Dr. Yehuda Hiss, who rewrote the autopsy of slain Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, and thus is impervious to police or legal retribution.
Dr. Yehuda Hiss – Last week, his pathological institute was raided and body parts, some over five years old, were found, including those of four soldiers killed in action. But Hiss was not arrested. He knows too much about Rabin for that. But one soldier’s father, Dr. Haim Buzaglo, is suing to have Hiss imprisoned and the case is coming up soon.
Dr. Hiss emptied the soldiers’ corpses of useable organs and replaced them with rags and, yes, broomsticks. Then he returned them to their families. One soldier’s father, Dr. Haim Buzaglo, was a doctor and Dr. Buzaglo conducted his own autopsy.
Taking the advantage of this extremely nasty and false propaganda against Jews and Israel, some Muslim fanatics in Bangladesh as well in other Muslim nations are refering this report to many places. One such propagandist mail reached Weekly Blitz, seeking comments of the newspaper on this matter, as Blitz is known as the most vocal pro-Israel newspaper in the Muslim world.
Blitz editorial staffs strongly confronted such nasty attempt of propaganda of some local Islamists and religious opportunists.
Dr Yehuda Hiss and his Abu Kabir Forensic Institute have often been been the subject of severe criticism and all too many aborted investigations. One must wonder how much certain Israeli politicos owe the good Dr. Hiss…
During the Middle Ages stories about Jews using the blood of young Christian children to bake the Passover Matzah were often used by antisemitic European priests to inflame the passions of the populace and organize a pogrom where Jews were killed, wounded, raped and everyone else had a good time. After all most of such “festivities” often started, but almost always ended with massive rounds of drinking.
One such priest was eventually hanged by the authorities in Prague (today’s Chekoslowakia) when they found the remains of a missing Christian child (and about two dozen vials of his blood), as the priest’s henchmen were about to spread out and plant them under the homes of wealthy Jews and the community’s main Rabbi. Had any Christian ever bothered inquiring about the laws of kashrut (Jewish dietary laws), no such libel would have succeeded. Blood, gentle reader, is a not permitted as far as the Jewish kosher diet goes. Meat is washed off to remove any blood on the surface, it is then soaked for half hour (to soften it) and then heavily covered with salt to draw out the remaining blood for an hour. Finally, it is rinsed off well. All that before one is permitted to cook it.
Yet, even in our enlightened age, that myth still refuses to die. Syria’s former Defense Minister, General Mustafa Tlass, published a book in 1983 titled The Matzah of Zion. Most of the world had, by then, advanced beyond that original fantasy and the book was internationally debunked as blatantly and wildly antisemitic. That is… it was criticized everywhere EXCEPT in the Arab world where it’s still a major bestseller.
Now, however, a European newspaper in an effort to demonize the Zionist Entity has revived the blood libel, albeit, in an updated version… Hitler would be proud!
