IDF Foils Terrorist Attack in Gush Etzion

by Tzvi Ben Gedalyahu

The IDF early Thursday morning caught three Arab terrorists, one of whom was carrying an eight-inch knife, approaching Meitzad in eastern Gush Etzion, located southeast of Jerusalem.

No one was injured, and the security personnel are interrogating the terrorists, who admitted they intended to carry out a stabbing attack in Meitzad.

The attempted attack came less than 24 hours after Defense Minister Ehud Barak ordered the removal of 100 security checkpoints and dirt roadblocks in Judea and Samaria.

No good deed must go unpunished it would seem…

The action was taken while U.S. Middle East envoy George Mitchell is in Israel for separate talks with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Palestinian Authority leaders Mahmoud Abbas and Salam Fayyad. Previous removals of security measures also have coincided with visits by American officials.

That should have told something to George Mitchell and his boss Obama. Do you know what that something is?!?!? One sided Israeli concessions gestures do not bring peace. They only prolong the bloodshed!

The U.S. government has pressured Israel to ease its security measures to accommodate Arab motorists in the PA, which is obligated to halt all terror and incitement against Israel.

The PA HAS DONE LITTLE to halt terror and NOTHING to stop incitement!!! But hey, that’s OK! The Palis bigger brothers have lots of oil, the Zionist Entity doesn’t. ‘Sides, since Obama reminded the world (in Cairo) of Islam’s long history of tolerance, the Palis and their friends might show their “tolerance” by bringing terror upon American interests (heck, they’ve done more than once already)! As for dem Jooz, what are they gonna do? Cry in their synagogues, write a nasty article or blog? Pshaww!

However, widespread stoning and firebombing attacks on Jewish motorists continued Wednesday night. One fire bomb was hurled at a bus near Beit Omar, south of Hevron on Highway 60, the only direct highway connecting the area with Gush Etzion and Jerusalem. No one was injured in the attack, and no damage was reported.

No one was injured in the attack, and no damage was reported. All right, maybe some Israelis were a bit frightened for a few moments but no injuries and no damages resulted. Hmmm… maybe gestures do work.

Hey Rahm, here’s an idea for ya! Why not suggest to your boss that he pressure Israel to dismantle its army. Think of it! That would be much more than just another gesture! And the benefits?!? Once the Arabs see how much Israel is doing for peace they’ll send their armies in and finally destroy it. Then they could have a holiday celebrating Arab heroism. Not  only would that end the Israeli/Palestinian problem but the Arab world might be so happy, they’ll probably consider lowering the price of oil for a day, or even a week! What do think Madam Secretary of State? Brilliant plan, no?
