Multiculturalism, as a concept, may seem fair until you examine its ramifications – until you look at its realities. For multiculturalism to work, all sides must be willing to work together and whatever community its tenets must insist that the local laws be followed by one and all, without exception!
Muslims in the UK, want public monies but reject any strings attached:
Muslim groups say that they want money from the Government but don’t like the strings attached which ask them to help root out extremism.
The Muslim Council of Britain (MCB) says that the grants which require them to stand against violent hard-liners are ‘intrusive’.
However, they say they do want the money which is designed to help local communities.
The MCB’s Deputy Secretary General, Dr Daud Abdullah, told the Guardian: “Experience has shown that very often funds are accompanied with intrusion and attempts to influence decision-making”.
He added Muslim groups were now turning away from Government funding.
Obviously, then, they would rather keep and foster those links than mesh into society at large…
Khalida Khan, Director of the An-Nisa Society, would welcome money but said: “There’s a lot of strings attached – the government stance is just terrorism driven”.
I absolutely agree that the “government’s stance is just terrorism driven,” however, it isn’t the British government that is the terrorist here! It is the Muslim organizations’ ties with extremist imams preaching violence against infidels and the West, those members of the Muslim Community who are training in terrorist camps who cause the government stance. Unless the Director of the An-Nisa Society is willing to accurately pinpoint the problem, unless Khalida Khan’s organization is ready to root out and expose those guilty elements, one can only conclude that the An-Nisa Society is part and parcel of those activities or, at the very least, a strong sympathizer.
The funding comes from an initiative called Preventing Violent Extremism which has been allocated £70 million over three years.
The Government say it is particularly for helping “support local authorities and community groups in improving the capacity of local communities to resist violent extremism”.
A spokeswoman for the Department for Communities and Local Government said the effectiveness of the scheme was dependent on: “everyone involved playing a positive part in standing up to, isolating and challenging those that seek to spread hatred and violence”.
The Government spokeswoman added: “We have acknowledged that the Prevent label can isolate some groups and that is why funding going into communities will no longer be branded in this way”.
Ah, the dhimitude! Bend over backwards to fund those who would obliterate you… Why should any public money go to support those so unwilling to support the infidels funding them?
Earlier this year the Government suspended ties with the Muslim Council of Britain.
Hazel Blears, then Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, raised concerns that Dr Abdullah had signed a document justifying attacks on the Royal Navy.
She said that until the matter was resolved, “I feel that it is only appropriate for us to suspend our engagement with the Muslim Council of Britain”.
No doubt, the good Dr. Abdullah was merely devoutly following his interpretation of Islam and Hazel Blears decision to cut off funding was a glaring attempt to interfere with the Muslim Council of Britain’s right to freely pursue their religious beliefs. Ahhh, where is the multiculturalist crowd’s outcry when you need them?
Meanwhile the problem of terrorist or extremists at home, is not just a UK problem, as the NEFA Foundation amply documents the widespread doctrine and training of IslamoFascist terrorists:
The NEFA Foundation has released a new Backgrounder by NEFA Senior Analyst Madeleine Gruen titled, “Abdullah al-Faisal: Extremist Ideologue with Influence in the West.” Al-Faisal is an extremist ideologue based in Jamaica who reaches supporters worldwide via the Internet, and through extensive international travel, particularly to Africa. Al-Faisal formerly resided in the UK, and was of such sufficient concern there that he was arrested for inciting murder. In addition to inspiring many young Western Muslims to travel abroad for training or to participate in violent jihad, al-Faisal has been credited with providing spiritual mentorship to men connected with terrorist acts and major plots, including 7/7 London transit bombers Mohammed Sidique Khan and Germaine Lindsay, and James Ujaama, an American who conspired to establish a jihad training camp in Bly, Oregon. In 2003, al-Faisal became the first person in 100 years to be found guilty in British court of soliciting murder under section four of the Offences against the Person Act 1861, on the basis that he “encouraged others to murder persons unknown.” He was sentenced to seven years in prison, but was released in May 2007 after serving only four years, and was extradited, after release, back to his native Jamaica. Since his release, al-Faisal has resumed preaching the same brand of extremist Islam that had precipitated his arrest and landed him in prison.
Abdulla al-Faisal was extradited for simply following his conscience. What is it with the UK infidels’ intolerance? Or… you could check this:
German and American Militants Training for Terror in Pakistan (October 2009)
The NEFA Foundation has obtained a new video from the Islamic Jihad Union (IJU) showing a group of alleged German nationals receiving instruction at an IJU terrorist training camp in northwest Pakistan. The video also includes footage of a balding Caucasian male identified as a U.S. national fighting alongside the IJU, “Abu Ibrahim al-Amriki.” In 2007, the IJU claimed responsibility for a failed terrorist plot targeting airports and other critical infrastructure in Germany – including Ramstein Air Base.
Meanwhile, back here in the US we also seem somewhat intolerant of those same IslamoFascist who dream of taking over and wiping us, infidels, out!
