Finally!!!

With AP’s new policy of charging $2.50 for each word, used by bloggers, that may have come from one of their stories, my French Arab Partner, Samuel, and I came up with a brilliant idea! We figured that what is good for the goose is good for the gander. Sam read, early this morning, Michelle Malkin’s Hey, Associated Press: You owe me at least $132,125!. He then alerted me and we both decided to check out AP stories that used our words or specific phrases over the last 28 months since we started. Yes, we co-opted our wives, our kids and our grandkids to help us out with this colossal task. While our search was far from exhaustive, we have – so far – found 127961 unattributed, unlinked, words ripped off from our very own posts. We have been forced, therefore, to retain the prestigious law firm of Shyster, Shyster, Shyster and Apyors, LLC. which has offices throughout this country and works with many similar firms throughout the world.

Even without counting the stories republished by their regular subscribers they would owe us about $319,903.00. Our lawyer, one of the firm’s young rising stars, assured us that they would conduct an exhaustive investigation into AP’s unfair practices while checking out how much they were paid by their subscribers for the words they lifted from us. He estimated we should be receiving several million dollars…

Considering the law firm’s major cut of the total we will be paid, considering how much the wives demand, considering the fees and toys our kids and grandkids are insisting on, we will still be left with a very hefty sum to be split between my co-author and I. When I started blogging I wondered if could ever make some money from this time consuming activity, I soon realized there are better ways of getting rich. That is, until I found out about AP’s scheme… Well, gentle reader, all of us here at Freedom’s Cost worked very, very hard today but I can already see my decrepit bank account suddenly swelling to healthy proportions. Ah, yes, blogging finally does pay, after all. All in a day’s work! Yeaaaah!

Seriously, is AP so desperate, so starved for revenue after getting caught a few times staging and photoshopping photos, fabricating stories or skewing the truth to the point where it is almost unrecognizable?!?!? Aren’t they getting enough from their IslamoFascist and liberal overlords? Achh, the greed of this piggish global capitalist news slanting corporation!!!! Pity!
