In Judaism life is sacrosanct, we do not make a cult of death unlike some or our cousins. We believe that every second of life is another chance to do His will. Thus, it is natural that everything humanly possible be done to bring back our captives. Aside from what life means to us as Jews, it is expected for any army and its government to exert every effort possible to bring back its captives whether alive or… for burial. Not many soldiers would be encouraged to fight if they were not assured that neither the army nor their government would willingly abandon them!

Now let’s look at the other side of the equation. A skillful enemy, aware of this peculiar Jewish trait will use it to the maximum extent for its own advantage and accomplish in negotiations what it could never achieve militarily. When you couple the enemy’s attitude with an inept, corrupt, Israeli government and 120 Members of the Knesset more concerned with their seat in Parliament than with the short and long term effect of their actions on the State, you end up with a disastrous deal. Basically, you end with a deal that could sink a country.

My heart cries out for the families of Eldad Regev and Ehud Goldwasser and I pray with every fiber of my being that they come back alive and in one piece! Even if, as seems most likely, Nasrallah and his rabid dogs murdered them they have more than earned a Jewish burial in the Jewish state and their families (after two horribly tortuous years) are more than deserving of a closing… either way. I pray that no family is ever again put in a similar situation, of knowing nothing about their loved ones for two years while praying, hoping, crying, screaming for their return…

Having said all the above, my heart screams with rage at the disastrous decision taken by the Knesset. Do two precious soldiers lives or… bodies have the right to endanger the State, to claim more lives, to have more soldiers kidnapped?!?

Hizbullah: Deal shows our strength

The above titled story in The Jerusalem Post Hizbullah tells the world that has just been given a new reason to exist by the very government that should be most interested in removing its threat. In the eyes of Hizbullah, even Israel now recognizes its strength and was forced to negotiate on its own terms. And… Israel did!

If the Arab world had been secretly looking at Israel to save them from the Iranian threat, they have just received proof positive that Israel may not be that hoped for savior. They also have seen a new Israeli vulnerability. And…. you better believe they’ll took very good note of it.

As precious, as holy as one life is to us Jews, the lives of many must take precedence. By negotiating with terrorists, Israel has made itself even more vulnerable to future attacks, to future kidnappings. PM Allmerde, his government and even every single member of the opposition has now become an accomplice to future bloodshed. Gone are the days of not negotiating under the threat of terror, gone are the days of not releasing terrorists with blood on their hands. Men of honor in Israeli politics have long disappeared and, as I’ve said here often, all we have left is 120 political eunuchs so unsure of themselves, so careless about their country each puts the security of his/her Knesset seat above the security of the State.

Everyone seems to agree that Allmerde is the most unpopular in a line of unpopular Prime Ministers. Everyone knows the creature is corrupt and that he would rather bring down the country than resign, as even a smidgen of honor would dictate. Everyone knows that new new elections are necessary if the country’s denizens are ever to have any trust in those in power again, the writing is on the wall but suddenly the opposition is incapable of reading the message.

Israel, has very obviously deferred to the putrid little maggot, Ahmedinajad and his puppets at Hizbullah, in spite of its protestations to the contrary. Pity!

    Israel’s Capitulation | Freedom…

If Israel’s government wants to destroy the country the way the enemy without couldn’t, then they are doing a superb job…

Even if Israel has really not acted as it should, I think we should look at how the MSM and other coutries are considering Israel, even if it’s the only democracy in the surrondings. I really believe that has a cost in the long-term and that the people end being tired of resisting, because no one is there to at least morally support them.
Of course, that does not mean I believe Israel’s behavious has been the right one. I really liked Israeli Government would have fought Hizballah with all their strenghts. But look at the rest of the countries: they are really doing nothing (or very little to fight this). Just consider this:

and what is been done to fight that financing.
And that happens also in other countries…
