Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered weak and weary
over many a quaint and curious unchallenged item in the life of the Great Orator
While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping
as if someone’s boldly knocking, knocking and mocking mine and everyone’s gray matter
‘Tis surely a lie, I muttered, knocking and mocking mine and everyone’s gray matter
Only this, and nothing more.’

Many have wondered what is there in Senator Obama’s curriculum vitae that would qualify him as President of the United States, and it’s not merely dyed in the wool Republicans who’ve been busy so wondering.  Since his school days, he has managed to amass some noteworthy titles indeed. Harvard Law School Review President, Lecturer at the University of Chicago Law School, Illinois State Senator, and United States Senator are all enviable achievements worthy of notice. And… who can deny the power, the delivery of his superb keynote address at the 2004 Democratic Convention?

Titles, he has! Charisma, he has! As a speaker none, anywhere, in the American political spectrum can match his prowess. But what about his accomplishments? Accomplishments?!?!? The good Senator claims 20 years of Public Service, yet he either lacks basic ‘rithmetic skills or thinks we – the prospective voters – lack them. He’s been in the US Senate for three years (the last two his time was taken up with running for the Presidency). At best, his attendance during theses last 2 years has been rather sporadic even if he even bothered showing up at all. But, let’s give him the full three years credit. He served for seven year as a State Senator in Illinois (a part time position!) during which time he was a Lecturer at at the University of Chicago Law School. But, let’s be kind and give him another seven years credit. My remembrance of rudimentary ‘rithmetic adds both of these up up to 10 years… Let’s also give him the other three years he claims so proudly to have been a community organizer (whatever that is!) and all in all allowing every possibility and being as creative in my math as I can I only come up with 13 years… Now… let’s see, it seems we are 7 years short of the 20 the good Senator claims… hmnnn… Well, let’s examine nevertheless what he did accomplished in the US Senate… during his three years of occasionally appearing in the hollowed chambers of the US Capitol.

While in Israel last month he took credit for the US Senate Banking Committee passing a bill to divest from Iran as a way of upping the pressure on Ahmedinajad’s and the Ayatollahs imperial ambitions. Except, as CNN atly noted in spite of his words, he’s not even a member of the Banking committee and he had absolutely nothing to do with piece of legislation…. Surely… considering he’s been away from the Senate for most of his tree years there, it could have been an honest mistake like forgetting which Senate Committee he might be a member of… Surely that must be it! Yes, I have no doubt of it!

When he run in the general elections he claimed credit for passing laws that would extend healthcare for wounded troops  who’d been shamefully neglected. There is a citation about a law that passed by a vote of 91-3… Except that SIX SENATORS NEVER BOTHERED TO VOTE AND OBAMA WAS ONE  OF THESE SAME SIX… aaah, the brazen audacity of untruth!!!!

As a US Senator he sponsored no laws, as a State Senator he specialized in corrupt Chicago politics. During his twelve years at the University of Chicago Law School he never produced even a single scholarly paper. As President of the Harvard Law Review he never penned anything himself… His total accomplishments are less than thin… they are absolutely nonexistent!

The impressive job titles in his resume show that he had every opportunity to shine, had he really cared to or been capable of doing so. Instead he was too busy promoting himself, while running around with dubious associates some of them already criminally indicted. Even his staunchest supporters have finally asked him to define himself, to speak in concrete terms rather than spout lofty sounding but meaningless slogans. Will he? Can he?!?

Frankly, everything the good Senator tells us is merely a lie, knocking and mocking mine and everyone’s gray matter only this, and nothing more!

The Audacity of Untruth | Freedom…

With deep apologies to Edgar Allan Poe, we dissect Senator Obama’s record of accomplishments….

I always laugh at men who wear their cell on their belt like they are SOOOO important… or as someone once told me “they have a Batman fantasy.”

Barry… GO HOME!! Or run for President of Indonesia!

Nice site. I came over here from Poligazette after reading this piece over there.

I too believe that Barak Obama has accomplished nothing that would warrant us giving him the presidency on a platter.

What is happening to Obama is precisely what the GOP wanted to have happen. Vent the good Senator who has accomplished nothing.

He seems to be meeting expectations.

Forgive me but I think you all are being a bit unreasonable. Making fun of his cell phone or saying everything Obama says is a lie discredits you. Obama’s record (or lack of record) speaks for itself and that’s what will make him lose the election. He has no experience, poor judgment based on a plethora of circumstances. Let’s not be like the democrats, now.

    Amy,

I certainly did not mention his phone, I wear mine the same way.

The lies I spoke off were mentioned by CNN, the NYT, The Boston Globe and frankly not a single of those media can be called right wing or even Republican sympathizers.

By the way, his own people are now acknowledging that he may have misspoke, at least once…

If Obama counts being in the public as experience, any teacher who has been teaching first or second grade or French or physics can claim the same thing. Since many teachers have done that for more than thirty years, does that mean they are 50% more experienced in public life than Husein? So, any teacher can run for president according to Barack beddcause they have public experience. We have great men who collect our garbage for 28 years and most people on the block know them because they stop to talk to so many of us. According to Hussein Obama, our garbage men deserve more fame because they beat his 13 years (which he likes to call 20)of public service and they more experience.
According to Barack, it doesn’t really matter what culture they are from, so I won’t surprise you with the answer.
Even Obama’s friends can not tell you what his policies are. All they know is that he is not white and that is why we need CHANGE. He means CHANGE OF COLOR.

At the diner we five sat and ate lunch. Two of us were crazy about Obama and three wanted someone else to win, anyone else. As the waitress kept clearing and bringing dishes, we all got to the point where we all five, had absolutely no idea what Obama wants besides being elected.
We all walked out laughing, but the same two still said they were going to vote for him. One of them thought he was sexy.
Is this what our country has come to? If Obama is pretty, will that scare Putin or Ahmedinejad or Chavez?
